Drive via the A87 across Skye Bridge, then north through Portree and west on the A850 toward Dunvegan before taking local roads. Most visitors come from Portree (20km) as a day trip, though longer routes from Inverness (2 hours) and Glasgow (4 hours) bring touring drivers. About nine fast EV chargers serve the area. The settlement provides access to coastal walks where Atlantic seals regularly bask on black basalt rocks.
