Sturgeon Lake, MN

Sturgeon Lake is a small Minnesota town of 568 people located 90 miles north of Minneapolis on Interstate 35. Take Exit 195 to Highway 73, which runs through the center of town and connects to Moose Lake seven miles west. The area features rolling wooded terrain with numerous small lakes, and the town gets its name from the nearby lake where Native Americans historically speared sturgeon during spring spawning runs.
