Stoneyhill lies in East Lothian, just outside Edinburgh between the capital and Musselburgh. The A1 provides the main connection, with local access via the A6095 to Musselburgh and coastal areas. Edinburgh city centre is about 20 minutes via Portobello Road or the A199, whilst long-distance visitors typically use the A1 from north or south.
