Stonegrave is a North Yorkshire village nestled in the Howardian Hills, about 25km northeast of York. Access via the A170 then local roads through attractive countryside, or take the B1257 from Malton. The area offers pleasant circular drives through neighbouring villages like Hovingham and Nunnington. The village's Norman minster contains exceptional 8th-century Anglo-Saxon stone carvings that survived the Viking period.
