Stirtloe is a quiet Cambridgeshire village near Buckden, easily reached from the A1 motorway. Local routes connect through Huntingdon and St Neots, whilst the A14 provides links to Cambridge. The surrounding fenland offers typical flat countryside with scattered woods and farms. St Andrew's Church houses remarkable 13th-century wall paintings uncovered during 1960s restoration work.
