Stibbard lies in Norfolk's farming country, reached via the A1067 from Norwich (25km northwest) or local roads from the A148. Most journeys are short hops between villages or longer trips to Norwich and the coast. The village's medieval church houses exceptional 15th-century wall paintings that escaped Reformation destruction.
