Statesboro, GA

Statesboro is a college town in southeast Georgia, centered around Georgia Southern University and located about an hour from Savannah. US 301 runs right through downtown as the main route, connecting north to South Carolina and southeast to Savannah, while US 80 heads east-west between Savannah and central Georgia. The humid subtropical climate and surrounding pine forests give it that classic South Georgia feel. Georgia Southern's football team has won three national championships, making Paulson Stadium a major draw on game days.
