Stanmore Park lies on elevated ground between Stanmore and Harrow Weald in northwest London's suburban fringe. Access from central London follows the A5 through Edgware, whilst the M25 and M1 provide connections via the A41. Heathrow sits 25 kilometres southeast. The area developed from an 18th-century estate whose grand mansion was demolished in the 1930s for housing.
