Stamullen

Ireland
Stamullen sits in County Meath, about 30 kilometres north of Dublin on the M1 motorway. Take Junction 7 for the R132 and you're there in 35 minutes from the capital, or 15 minutes south from Drogheda. It's handy for commuters and makes a decent base for exploring the Boyne Valley, including Brú na Bóinne and Tayto Park. The name comes from "Teach Maoláin," meaning "Maolan's house," harking back to when the whole place started around a single dwelling centuries ago.
