Springfield lies in west Belfast, roughly 4km from the city centre along the Springfield Road corridor. Access comes via the M1 to Westlink (A12), then west through the city, or from the M2 via the same Westlink connection. The area sits between the Shankill and Falls districts, with good EV charging coverage across Belfast's network of over 150 fast chargers. The famous Peace Wall along Springfield Road draws international visitors who sign the concrete barrier that has divided the community since 1969.
