Sportsmen Acres, OK

Sportsmen Acres is a small community of about 500 people in northeastern Oklahoma's Mayes County, about 45 miles north of Tulsa via US Highway 69. State Highway 20 provides east-west access through rolling Ozark foothills at roughly 600 feet elevation. The area experiences hot summers and mild winters typical of Oklahoma's continental climate. True to its name, many residents maintain small acreages ideal for hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation.
