Southall lies in west London, about 10 miles from the center and just three miles from Heathrow. The A4020 Uxbridge Road cuts straight through town, whilst the M4 Junction 3 provides motorway access for longer journeys. It's Britain's largest Sikh community outside India, centered around the massive Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha with its distinctive white domes that dominate the local skyline.
