South Corriegills lies on Arran's sheltered east coast, reached via ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick then the A841 coastal road south. The route passes through Strathwhillan with views across to Ayrshire, popular with both islanders travelling to Lamlash and tourists completing the island circuit. Approximately 9 EV charging points serve the area. The village features distinctive red sandstone cottages built from local Arran stone.
