Soda Springs is a small mountain town in southeastern Idaho, positioned along US Highway 30 between Pocatello and the Wyoming border. The city serves as a natural stopping point for travelers heading between Salt Lake City and Jackson Hole, with State Highway 34 providing access north to Caribou National Forest. At nearly 5,800 feet elevation, the area experiences typical high desert conditions with snowy winters and pleasant summers.
