Snow End is a small Hertfordshire village near the Essex border, part of a cluster of historic settlements including Anstey and Daw's End. Access is via the A10 to the B1368 through Anstey, with Stansted Airport 12 miles northeast. The village name derives from a medieval field boundary where farmers marked their winter grazing limits.
