Sliemore lies in the Spey Valley between Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey, just off the A95. Most visitors arrive via the A9 from either direction, then follow the A95 through Boat of Garten. The settlement serves as a quiet base for exploring the Cairngorms, with good access to nearby distilleries and outdoor activities. The area sits within the heart of Speyside whisky country.
