Sleagill

England

Sleagill is a small Cumbrian village just off the A6 between Penrith and Appleby-in-Westmorland. Most visitors arrive via Junction 38 of the M6, then follow the A685 and A6 south for about 15 minutes through the Eden Valley. The village sits amongst traditional stone-walled farmland with good views toward the surrounding fells. Its restored 17th-century corn mill still has a working waterwheel.
