Sims is a tiny farming community in Wayne County, about 15 miles southeast of Fairfield via US Route 45 and county roads. Most trips are short drives to Fairfield for services or longer routes connecting Evansville and St. Louis through rural Illinois highways. The town preserves its original 1888 one-room schoolhouse as a historical landmark.
