Silsden

Silsden lies in the Aire Valley between Keighley and Skipton, connected by the A629. From Bradford, take the A650 through Bingley then join the A629 for about 20km through classic mill country. The town attracts daily commuters to Bradford and Leeds, plus Dales-bound tourists using the nearby A65. Electric vehicle drivers can access roughly 100 fast chargers in surrounding areas. The working cobbler's shop on Kirkgate remains one of the Aire Valley's last traditional shoe repair businesses, still operating from its original Victorian premises.
