Sierra Vista, AZ

Sierra Vista is a high desert military town in southeastern Arizona, built around Fort Huachuca at 4,600 feet elevation. Take I-10 to Benson, then Highway 90 south for the main approach from Phoenix (200 miles total) or Tucson (100 miles). Highway 92 runs south to the Mexican border, while Highway 82 connects east to Tombstone. The town hosts the U.S. Army Intelligence Center, where electronic warfare specialists have trained since World War II.
