Shinfield lies just south of Reading along the A327, easily reached from M4 Junction 11 via the A33. The former farming village has become a thriving residential area whilst keeping its green spaces. It's home to the University of Reading's newest campus, opened in 2016, housing computer science and meteorology departments in modern buildings set within 35 acres of parkland.
