Shelfanger is a Norfolk village reached via minor roads off the A1066, which connects to the main A140 Norwich-Ipswich route near Scole. Most traffic heads to nearby Diss for shopping and transport links, or follows the A1066 west toward Thetford. The 14th-century All Saints church houses an exceptional medieval rood screen with painted saint panels.
