Senghenydd

Wales

Senghenydd lies in the Aber Valley, 12 miles north of Cardiff via the A469 through Caerphilly. This former mining village sits amongst the characteristic hills of the South Wales Valleys, with good EV charging coverage nearby. The community is remembered for the 1913 Universal Colliery disaster, Britain's worst mining tragedy, which claimed 440 lives.
