Scott City, MO

Scott City sits in Missouri's Bootheel region, about 12 miles south of Cape Girardeau via Route 61. This farming community of 4,400 lies along flat Mississippi River bottomland where cotton and soybeans stretch to the horizon. Interstate 55 provides main highway access at Exit 66, connecting north to St. Louis (120 miles) and south to Memphis (140 miles). The restored 1907 train depot downtown now serves as the city's museum.
