Most visitors pass through en route to Ireland or whilst exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, though locals frequently travel the 4-kilometre stretch to Fishguard for daily errands. The village sits near the former Trecwn Naval Armament Depot, where vast underground tunnels once stored munitions beneath the Pembrokeshire hills.
