Saltash perches above the River Tamar, connected to Plymouth by the striking Tamar Bridge on the A38. This Cornish market town serves as the gateway to Cornwall for drivers heading west from the M5 via Plymouth, whilst the A374 links it to Torpoint and the Rame Peninsula.
