Sallachan lies on Loch Linnhe's western shore in the Highlands, about 15 kilometres south of Fort William via the A82. The Corran Ferry provides a scenic crossing from Ardnamurchan, whilst the A861 offers an alternative route from Kinlochleven. The area has roughly 13 public EV charging points nearby for electric vehicle tourists. The Corran Ferry operates continuously except for a brief maintenance window between 2 AM and 5 AM.
