Ruthven, Highland 2

Ruthven lies in the Spey Valley along the A86, just west of Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park. Most visitors turn off the A9 at Kingussie, whilst long-distance routes continue west towards Fort William or serve as a gateway to Skye. The settlement sits beneath dramatic Highland peaks with approximately 15 fast charging points nearby. The ruins of 18th-century Jacobite barracks stand on the site of a medieval castle that once guarded this strategic Highland pass.
