Ruan Minor is a small Cornish village on the Lizard Peninsula, reached via the A394 from Helston then local lanes. The area enjoys mild Atlantic weather with frequent winter storms. Long-distance visitors approach via the A30, whilst locals make short trips to Helston for services. About nine fast chargers serve the area. The village's medieval church contains one of Cornwall's few surviving painted rood screens.
