Rotherby is a small Leicestershire village on the A607 between Leicester and Melton Mowbray, about 12 miles northeast of Leicester city centre. The route passes through typical East Midlands countryside with gentle hills and working farms. Most visitors arrive via the A607 or connect through the A46 Leicester Western Bypass. The 13th-century All Saints Church houses a remarkably preserved medieval stone rood screen.
