Rosses Point

Ireland

Ireland

Rosses Point is a small seaside village on a peninsula jutting into Sligo Bay, offering grand views across to Benbulben mountain. Most visitors drive the 8 kilometers from Sligo town via the R291 coastal road through Strandhill. Sligo Airport is about 15 minutes away by car. The village draws golfers to its championship links course, which hosts the West of Ireland Amateur Open Championship, Ireland's second-oldest golf tournament dating back to 1923. There's also a Blue Flag beach for families and around 25 EV fast chargers in the greater Sligo area.
