Rookley

England

England

Rookley sits at the heart of the Isle of Wight along the A3020, the main cross-island route between Newport and Shanklin. This small village makes an ideal base for exploring the island's attractions, with Godshill's famous thatched cottages just 4km away and the southern beaches easily accessible. The surrounding chalk downs provide excellent walking country, whilst the village's central position means nowhere on the island is more than a 20-minute drive away. Rookley is home to the island's only commercial vineyard, producing award-winning English wines.
