Rochestown

Rochestown sits on Cork Harbour's eastern shore, about 15 kilometers southeast of Cork city center. Take the N25 east from Cork, then local roads through Passage West and Monkstown to reach it. From Cork Airport, follow the N27 south to the N28, then through Carrigaline. The area draws visitors to Trabolgan Holiday Village's waterpark, Fota Island's championship golf course, and the nearby Jameson Distillery in Midleton. Rochestown overlooks one of Ireland's largest natural harbours, where tidal waters have supported everything from naval operations to modern ferry services for centuries.
