Rhydymain is a small Gwynedd village on the A470 trunk road, 9km south of Dolgellau in the wooded Mawddach Valley. Most visitors arrive via the A470 or A487 coastal route, with electric vehicle charging available nearby. The village sits beside the old Ruabon to Barmouth railway, now a walking trail through the valley.
