Rhinamain lies in Sutherland near the Kyle of Sutherland, accessed via the A9 and A836 roads. The village sits amongst gentle Highland terrain where several glens converge, with Bonar Bridge 3km away and the railway at Ardgay. Most visitors pass through on North Coast 500 tours or Highland journeys, whilst locals use it for accessing Dornoch area services. The village retains a working watermill that's been grinding oatmeal for over 200 years.
