Rerrin perches on a remote peninsula along Cork's Wild Atlantic Way, reached via the R572 from Castletownbere, about 15 kilometres away. Most visitors drive from Cork city on the N71 through Bandon, then continue to the Beara Peninsula, roughly 120 kilometres taking 90 minutes. From Killarney, take the Ring of Kerry N70 connecting to R571 then R572. The settlement overlooks Bantry Bay where traditional fishing boats still work waters that have sustained local communities for generations. Plan EV charging stops in Bantry or Castletownbere for longer journeys.
