Red Row is a former mining village in coastal Northumberland, reached via the A1068 from the A1 near Acklington. It sits between Newcastle (25 miles) and Alnwick (15 miles), serving tourists heading to Druridge Bay. The preserved Pithead Baths at Lynemouth Colliery remain as a striking reminder of the area's coal mining heritage.
