Rathfarnham

Rathfarnham lies 6 kilometres south of Dublin city centre in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, easily reached via the M50 at junctions 12 or 13, or straight down the R115 through Terenure. The elevated location gives you cooler air and grand views toward Wicklow. Electric vehicle charging stations are plentiful in nearby Dundrum and along the M50. The star attraction is Rathfarnham Castle, a 16th-century fortified house where you can now learn German at the Goethe Institut in rooms where Jesuit priests once taught theology.
