Rathcabbin

Rathcabbin is a small County Tipperary village on Lough Derg's eastern shore where the River Shannon opens into Ireland's third-largest lake. The R493 runs along the lakeshore, connecting to major routes from Dublin (140km via M7 to Roscrea), Limerick (45km via Nenagh), and Cork (80km through Cashel). Rolling farmland stretches inland from the water, with easy access to golf courses at Portumna and Birr.
