Rashcliffe lies in West Yorkshire's Colne Valley, reached via the A62 from Huddersfield centre or Junction 25 off the M62. The area has over 150 EV charging points nearby. Stone-built mill workers' cottages from the 19th century still dot the landscape, their Yorkshire stone weathered to a distinctive honey colour.
