Ranby is a small Nottinghamshire village just off Junction 34 of the A1(M), making it a convenient stop between the Midlands and Yorkshire. The A638 runs through the village, connecting it to Retford and Bawtry, whilst the nearby A1 provides excellent links to Doncaster and Newark. The surrounding countryside features typical East Midlands farmland with scattered copses.
