Raigmore forms part of Inverness's southeastern suburbs, easily reached via the A9 trunk road or A96 Aberdeen route. The area serves as a gateway between the Highland capital and the surrounding countryside, with the Southern Distributor Road providing quick access to the city centre. Raigmore Hospital, one of Scotland's largest district hospitals, dominates the landscape and lends the area its name.
