Quarmby occupies Pennine foothills just north of Huddersfield, reached via the A62 Manchester Road from the town centre or the A640 from M62 Junction 23. The former mill village retains its Victorian stone terraces climbing steep hillsides, whilst approximately 150 EV charging points serve the wider area. Quarmby Mills, the imposing stone textile complex, remains the valley's most prominent landmark.
