Princes Park lies in Liverpool's inner suburbs, serving as a key corridor between the city centre and southern residential areas. The Victorian park itself, designed by Joseph Paxton, gives the neighbourhood its name. Access is straightforward via the A5080 from M62 Junction 4 or the A561 from the south. Local routes connect easily to nearby Toxteth, Sefton Park and the city centre. The original park features Paxton's distinctive serpentine lake, a pioneering example of naturalistic Victorian landscape design.
