Poundstock is a small Cornish village about 4km inland from Widemouth Bay, reached via minor roads off the A39 Atlantic Highway. The area's rolling farmland and narrow lanes offer classic rural Cornwall scenery, with the dramatic north coast nearby. The village retains its agricultural character and features St Neot's Church, which houses one of Cornwall's most impressive medieval rood screens with remarkably preserved carved woodwork.
