Pottstown sits on the Schuylkill River about 40 miles northwest of Philly, connected by Route 422 east to King of Prussia and west toward Reading. Route 100 runs north-south through town, while US 202 provides another path to Philadelphia suburbs. Most locals use these roads for short commutes to Collegeville and Phoenixville.
