Port Isaac

Port Isaac clings to a dramatic coastal cleft where narrow medieval lanes plunge toward a working harbour. The village became globally recognised as Portwenn from Doc Martin, though its authentic fishing village character remains intact. Access requires navigating Cornwall's narrow country roads from the A30 via the B3314 and Saint Endellion. The final descent is particularly steep and challenging for larger vehicles. The working harbour still shelters traditional crab boats alongside the famous stone quay that's featured in countless photographs.
