Plains, MT

Plains is a small Montana town of 1,200 people along Highway 200 in the Clark Fork River valley. It's 90 miles from Missoula and serves as a gateway to Cabinet Mountains recreation. The area offers excellent fishing and forest access. The town's restored 1910 Northern Pacific Railway depot operates as a museum showcasing local railroad history.
