Pinchbeck lies just off the A16 in Lincolnshire's fenland, four kilometres from Spalding. Most arrive via the A16 from either the A1 near Stamford or through Boston from the north. The flat, fertile landscape was reclaimed from marshland centuries ago. The parish church of St. Mary houses exceptional 14th-century stone carvings that reflect the area's medieval prosperity.
