Peplow is a small Shropshire village between Market Drayton and Shrewsbury, reached via the A53 or connecting roads from the A41 and A49. The surrounding countryside features typical West Midlands farmland with scattered settlements linked by quiet lanes. RAF Shawbury airfield sits nearby, whilst the village church houses a remarkable 14th-century wooden effigy of an armoured knight.
